Captivate 6 introduced ‘Interactions’, a collection of widget-like interactive pieces that can be inserted into a Captivate slide. Examples of interactions are a glossary, a timeline element and various clickable diagram styles. If you know Articulate Studio, these interactions will look very familiar, they have been available in Studio for years.
These interactions can also supported in HTML5, but as always the devil is in the detail. I set up a test file with one of each interaction, published it as HTML5 and ran it on both HTML5-compatible browsers and on an iPad.
