One of my favourite third-party widgets for Captivate is the Web Page Widget available at CaptivateDev.com. The Widget has now been updated to work with Captivate 6.

With this widget, available in free and premium versions, you can:
- display webpages inside a Captivate project, without having to resort to popup windows
- display external files, e.g. a pdf file using a relative path
- insert HTML code and tags, either directly as a string or via a Captivate user variable
- pass the content of a Captivate user variable to a query string.
See here for a detailed description of the widget’s functionality and demos (both in .swf and HTML5).
The widget comes with a Captivate demo file that will help you get started. Here are some other examples of how the Web Page Widget can be used to enhance your Captivate projects:
Thanks for this post. Now I know at least one why to add animations to HTML5-published CP6 content!
